A pragmatic trial analysis publisehed in May 2024 including 465 patients with moderate to severe anxious depression found that those treated with acupuncture and SSRI’s showed higher treatment response and remission rates, and greater improvement in depression and quality of life scores compared to those treated with SSRI’s alone.
